Oil companies announce price rollbacks

MANILA (UPDATED) – Several oil companies have announced a cut in local petroleum prices effective December 7, Sunday.

Independent oil player Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. announced a drop in the prices of gasoline and diesel effective on Sunday (December 7).

The company said prices of gasoline will go down by P2.50 per liter while diesel prices will decrease by P2.30 per liter.

In a message sent to DZMM, a representative from the oil company said the rollback will take effect at 6 a.m. Sunday.

Petron will also be implementing a cut in oil prices effective 12:01 a.m. on December 7.

The prices of Blaze 100 Euro 4, XCS, Xtra Advance, and Super Xtra will go down by P2.50/liter, while the prices of Turbo Diesel, DieselMax, and kerosene will go down by P2.25 per liter.

Shell will also cut prices of its petroleum products past midnight on December 7. Prices of Shell gasoline will go down by P2.50 per liter, while kerosene and diesel prices each go down by P2.25 per liter.

PTT Philippines will also implement a P2.50/liter rollback on gasoline and P2.25/liter on diesel effective 12:01 a.m. on December 7.

SEAOIL will adjust its pump prices per liter effective 12:01AM, on December 7. Gasoline prices will go down by P2.50 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices go down by P2.25 per liter.

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines will likewise cut down its prices effective 12 noon on December 7. Gasoline prices will go down by P2.50 per liter, while the price of diesel will go down by P2.25 per liter.
