MANILA - A pedestrian bridge connecting Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to the Newport City leisure complex will be open in the first half of next year, the transportation department said Monday.

The nearly 18-meter high, 220-meter long "Runway Manila" crosses Andrews Avenue and is being developed with Newport operator Travellers International Hotel Group.

The facility can accommodate 2,000 people at a time or up to 216,000 people daily. -- reports from Ron Gagalac, ABS-CBN News
