HYDERABAD, India - Hundreds of businessmen and government officials will gather in this city from Tuesday for an annual summit that aims to spur entrepreneurship.
This year's meetings will focus on women entrepreneurs. US President Donald Trump's daughter and adviser, Ivanka Trump, is expected to attend the summit.
Also expected to attend is Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The summit also puts a spotlight on the host city, Hyderabad, which is a "model" for the rest of India in terms of making doing business easy, said US Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster.
The governments of India and the US are co-hosts of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, now on its eighth edition.
