MANILA - A good boss is like a father who takes care of his children, according to the head of the country's largest rotisserie chicken chain.

Under president and CEO Ronald Mascariñas, Bounty Agro Ventures Inc weathered the bird flu expansion earlier this year and is pushing ahead with expanding its Chooks-to-Go, Uling Roasters and Reyal brands.

A good boss makes sure his employees are well-compensated, in the same way parents make sure their children get the best education, Mascariñas said in an exclusive interview with ANC's The Boss.

"Especially in the content of the country where a boss is practically looked at as a father. Whatever the employees did, they look up to what the boss will take care of," said Mascariñas.
