MANILA, Philippines - The University of the Philippines (UP) Economics Society will hold a symposium with the theme "Towards a new paradigm in foreign exchange management" on Nov. 24 at the J.Duavit and Class of 1984 Lecture Room of the UP School of Economics Building in Quezon City.
The event, which will be held in cooperation with the UP Alumni Association, will gather experts from the academe, government officials and other respected personalities who will give students insights on the movement of the peso and how it affects the economy.
Those invited to talk include LBS Recruitment Solutions President Loreto Soriano, University of Asia and the Pacific Professor of Economics Victor Abola, and UP Professor of Economics and National Scientist Raul Fabella.
An open forum, to be moderated by UP Professor Emeritus and former NEDA Director-General Solita Monsod, will cap the program.
