MANILA – The National Economic and Development Authority said Thursday its committee approved 4 more infrastructure projects.

The Samal Island-Davao City Connector (SIDC) project, the Camarines Sur High-speed Highway, the Davao Public Transport Modernization Project (DPTMP) and the unsolicited proposal for the New Bohol International Airport were approved by the NEDA’s Investment Coordination Committee-Cabinet Committee (ICC-CabCom), the agency said in a statement.

The P23.04 billion SIDC project, which involves the construction of a 2.8 kilometer 4-lane bridge will be financed through official development assistance, NEDA said. It will connect Davao City and Samal Island.

The Davao public transport modernization project worth P18.67 billion is also proposed to be financed through ODA, it said.

The P9.23 billion highway in Camarines Sur involves the construction of a 15.21 kilometer 4-lane highway, which will serve as an alternate route between Legazpi or Caramoan to Manila, NEDA said.

The NEDA also approved the unsolicited proposal for the operation and maintenance of the New Bohol International Airport with a 25-year concession period, it said.

The list of flagship projects under President Rodrigo Duterte's Build, Build, Build program was earlier revised and expanded to 100 projects from 75.
