Just because you're the boss, that doesn't mean you have to do everything yourself.
That's exactly what Phinma Group president and CEO Ramon Del Rosario Jr., strives to practice in his business, as he tries to empower and inspire his organization to do what it strives to accomplish with what he calls its "strategic business units" headed by CEOs.
"These are the types of people who we empower and give a lot of support to. Not only resources, but also by listening to them, and
either agreeing or disagreeing with them, but pointing them in the right direction," said Del Rosario.
And while they're being pointed in the right direction, Phinma's chief said he also allows them a degree of flexibility so that they "can make their own mistakes and learn from them."
"So that's what I think it's all about. Helping our people develop themselves into strategic thinkers and into good leaders, and into nation builders," said Del Rosario.
Del Rosario also talked about their newly launched SIKLAB (Spark) awards for the younger generation, which hopes to recognize those aged between 25 and 35, who have demonstrated a degree of success and leadership. Hear more from the boss here:
