This after a jobseeker alias Mary was victimized by a Facebook page bearing the logo of the DOLE that offered work in Canada, Australia, Singapore, London, Calabarzon and Mimaropa for nurses, caregiver, managers, restaurant staff, among others.

Mary sent a supposed reservation payment of P1,000 to a certain Arthur Villena who posed as a DOLE employee.

After sending the payment, the alleged employee arranged for a meetup at the DOLE headquarters in Intramuros, Manila but did not show up. The victim then reported the incident to the agency.
