MANILA - Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) said it will undergo a major systems upgrade on Oct. 19, Saturday, lasting 24 hours.
"During this time, our online banking, mobile app, BizLink and ELink platforms, ATMs, CAMs, and Debit Card services will be temporarily unavailable," BPI said on its official Facebook page.
The bank said the upgrade, which will be from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., aims to provide more advanced services and capabilities for clients.
"Likewise, all branches will be closed from October 19 to 20," the bank added.
Credit card and prepaid card services, however, will remain accessible, it said.
The bank advised its clients to plan their weekend transactions before the scheduled upgrade.
