Oil firms to adjust fuel prices Monday

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) – Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell and independent player SEAOIL announced on Saturday that prices for their fuel products will be adjusted effective 6 a.m. on Monday, October 1.

Petron said a price rollback will be implemented in its Turbo Diesel and DieselMax products by P0.30 per liter and kerosene by P0.25 per liter.

But prices for Blaze 100, XCS Plus, and Xtra will increase by P0.30 per liter. There will also be an increase in Pinoy Gasoline and Regular by P0.25 per liter.

Shell and SEAOIL likewise said prices for its diesel products will be slashed by P0.30 per liter while prices for kerosene will be cut down by P0.25 per liter.

Shell and SEAOIL also announced an increase in its premium and unleaded gasoline by P0.30 per liter and P0.25 per liter for regular.

The oil firms said the adjustments will be made to reflect movements in the international oil market.
