Total: No oil price hike in disaster areas

MANILA, Philippines - Oil company Total on Monday announced an increase in fuel prices that will not include disaster-hit areas.

Total, in an advisory, said effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, its unleaded and Protec gasoline prices will rise by P1.80 per liter.

It is also raising its regular gasoline price by P1.70 per liter, while its diesel will go up by P1.50 per liter.

Calamity-affected areas in Metro Manila; Bataan; Zambales; Tarlac; Pangasinan; Pampanga; Bulacan; Pagsanjan in Laguna, Bacoor, Rosario; and Kawit, Cavite will not have oil prices increases, Total said.
