DOTC invites bids for NAIA-3 retrofit

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) is inviting construction companies to submit bids for the P212.3 million Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 structural retrofit.

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) bids and awards committee is giving prospective bidders have until 12 noon of August 23 to submit their bids, including eligibility requirements.
The NAIA-3 structural retrofit will put the terminal's operations at full capacity. It will also improve the building's safety and structural integrity. .

The structural retrofit covers 11 components, including wall thickening, enlarging elevated access roadways and application of fiberglass reinforced polymers (FRPs) to columns, beams and slabs.
