MANILA, Philippines – Prices of goods have risen due to days of non-stop rains.

The price of milkfish or bangus went up from P120 to P130 per kilo.

Tilapia is now priced P100 per kilo, while pork prices spiked by P5 per kilo.

Some vegetable prices, meanwhile, jumped by more than double.

Eggplant prices also rose from P20 to 50 per kilo.

Agriculture officials say the price hikes are caused by delays in transporting the goods due to floods. -- ANC
