MANILA -- San Miguel's proposal to build a new airport in Bulacan province was unchallenged Wednesday, paving the way for the conglomerate to begin construction.
The conglomerate can start building the terminal as early as the fourth quarter of this year, said Department of Transportation Assistant Secretary Giovanni Lopez.
The National Economic Development Authority earlier approved the concession agreement for the Bulacan International Airport.
