MANILA -- Financial technology firm PayMaya said Monday it deployed its products to consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical company Unilab.
More than 3,000 of its workers will receive co-branded prepaid PayMaya cards which they can use in their office cafeteria, as well as in outside establishments that accept card payments, PayMaya said.
The company's cafeteria merchants and concessionaires will also be equipped with PayMaya QR codes and One by PayMaya Business point-of-sales devices, it said.
These will allow shops to accept payments using the PayMaya Unilab cards, credit and debit cards as well as other emerging payment options, it said.
PayMaya is the digital financial services arm of PDLT Inc's Voyager Innovations. It also allows users to send money to colleagues or family via the app’s Send Money function, buy prepaid load, gaming pins, and withdraw funds via ATM.
