MANILA—Filipino seafarers will get free rides on the MRT on Tuesday in celebration of the International Day of the Seafarer, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said.
The DOTr said free rides on the capital's main railway starts from 5:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
To avail the free rides, Filipino seafarers must present their Seafarer's Identification and Record Book (SIRB) or Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) identification card.
"Saludo po ang DOTr MRT-3 sa mga Pilipinong marino! Ingat po sa biyahe!" the agency said.
