The Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Friday night said it will temporarily suspend flights to and from Abu Dhabi starting July 8 until further notice.
PAL, in an advisory, said the cancellation of flights is due to "route assessment initiatives".
“PAL is seeking the kind understanding of affected passengers as the airline implements these operational adjustments,” the statement read.
Passengers who already booked their flight for July 8 onwards may refund their tickets or re-book their flight to a Manila to Dubai route and be transported by PAL-arranged or assisted bus from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and vice versa.
“Affected passengers are advised to avail of any of these options within 30 days from original flight dates, with rebooking/refunding charges waived. PAL will also communicate with affected passengers via email notification and call-out,” it said.
For more information, passengers may call their hotline (02) 855 - 8888, visit their website, or visit their nearest ticketing office or partner travel agent.
Abu Dhabi flights are PR 656 and 657, scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
