AirAsia to mount KL-Cebu direct flights

MANILA, Philippines - Malaysia's AirAsia will mount direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Cebu starting in July.

The thrice weekly flights will start on July 24, 2014 and will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. AirAsia is the only airline providing direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Cebu.

The flights are available for booking online at, from RM0 base fare one-way from May 5 to May 11. Travel period is from July 24 to April 30, 2015.

The Kuala Lumpur-Cebu direct flight was previously operated by AirAsia Zest, and will now be operated by Malaysia AirAsia.

This is Malaysia AirAsia’s third Philippine destination with direct flights from Malaysia. It also has direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Manila and Kalibo.

AirAsia is also having special promotional fares from Kuala Lumpur to Manila, as well as Kota Kinabalu to Manila with all-in-fares from as low as RM162 one way, with the same booking period from May 5-11. Guests can travel immediately until August 3.
