MANILA -- Customers' credit card information was not accessed in a breach of Cebu Pacific's rewards app GetGo, the country's largest airline said Friday.
The situation has been "contained," the Gokongwei-led carrier said. The National Privacy Commission was informed of the "unauthorized access" to GetGo late Wednesday.
GetGo members can now log in to the Cebu Pacific website to manage their bookings, check points and check-in for their flights, the airline said.
Log-ins to the Cebu Pacific site and mobile app have been restored, the airline said, adding it was working to reestablish the GetGo app server.
The GetGo website and app remain disabled, it said.
