MANILA -- Cebu Pacific said Thursday there was "unauthorized access" to its GetGo rewards app server, which has since been "secured."
Credit card information was not stored on the GetGo server, the country's largest airline said in a statement. It did not give further details.
Cebu Pacific said it temporarily disabled logins using GetGo. The National Privacy Commission was informed of the breach, which happened Wednesday evening, it said.
The carrier operates flights out of 7 hubs in the Philippines to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations.
Cebu Pacific's Data Privacy Offer was instructed to report to the National Privacy Commission's complaints and Investigations team on Friday, April 26, privacy commissioner Raymund Liboro said.
