MANILA -- AirAsia said Monday it would cancel all domestic and international flights in the Philippines until April 30, in step with the extended Luzon lockdown to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

Affected guests will be notified via e-mail or SMS, the Southeast Asian budget carrier said in a statement. Guests should regularly update contact details on the AirAsia website to ensure receipt of flight information, it said.

Guests can request for a full refund. Those with bookings made on or before March 22, with departure dates until May 31 can avail of unlimited flight change or credit the value of the booking for future flights which can be redeemed in 365 calendar days.
