MANILA – Century Pacific Food Inc on Monday said it had enough raw materials and facilities to ensure supply during the 1-month lockdown of Luzon to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

Factories are continuously operating with enough capacity despite running on skeletal workforce, Century Pacific told the stock exchange.

Century Pacific is known for its canned food products including Century Tuna, Argentina. 555, Swift, Birch Tree Fortified Milk, and Wow Ulam, among others.

“Our factories are continually operating with enough capacity despite the use of a skeletal workforce. Thus we currently have sufficient stock of products in our warehouses so there is no need to panic or worry that supply might run out,” said CNPF president Ted Po.

There is high demand for canned food as people stock up on goods during the enhanced community quarantine, which will end on April 12.
