He must also know how to put value in what he does so that people trust his brand.In a country like ours where majority of the population is Catholic, entrepreneurs should also look at their responsibility in pursuing a life that is fair and appropriate.Let’s face it, some people just want to earn money and live an extravagant life. The pursuit of happiness does not end in receiving an enormous amount of money, but in being a good person who helps others and is after the welfare of others.You may ask: Are there still people nowadays who can be “entrepreneurs with a heart? And my answer to that is a resounding, “Yes”!I do believe that when you do things wholeheartedly out of love, great things come to you a hundredfold. And I am lucky to have met some of these successful people. Despite their success, they remained generous in sharing what they have.Value CreationThe primary aim of any business entity is creating value because it sells products and services, which at the same time creates value for shareholders through the increase in stock price.Value creation in companies today means intangible resources such as the company brand, innovation, and people.In a nutshell, value formation is now recognized as a better management goal than focusing on the financial performance of the company. It is by doing what is right so that both the company and the customers benefit from it.When entrepreneurs manage a business from a purely financial perspective, this sometimes results in cost-cutting. While this produces short-term results, it does not help enhance long-term competitiveness and growth.When value formation is prioritized, it enables us to find solutions on how to grow the business, better deploy capital, and develop better people than our competitors. This gives a huge edge in building the company’s ability to achieve profitable and sustainable growth.Achieve Better Values in BusinessFirst and foremost, an organization should focus on understanding the sources and drivers of value creation within the industry, company, and marketplace. When you identify what creates value, profitable opportunities for growth are easily targeted as it helps managers to focus capital and talent.Ask a customer: Why do you patronize this particular store? If he says it is because of the high-quality of products, the timely delivery that he gets when shopping, then it means that the skills of the employees, the processes used to produce and deliver the products are highly valuable to the organization.If the customer replies that he trusts the brand because it is very innovative and of very high quality, then, it is because of all three points mentioned earlier plus the superior functionality of the product is what creates the value of the company.Consistency of actions and capabilities of a company through its products and services is the core of creating a strategic execution for the sustainability of the business.The Essential Values in BusinessThere are 3 kinds of entrepreneurial values that we must learn to strengthen because, through this, we become much happier individuals in or out of our company.Personal Values – One should be honest, passionate, determined, and confident. No one will feel interested in dealing with an arrogant, egoistic, and selfish individual.Professional Values – It is the ability to conduct oneself in the business environment through healthy competition, while following the law. Similarly, it also reflects on how an entrepreneur treats his employees and customers and how he values their role in his success.Social Values – It is valuing the community – first, by creating products and services that benefit the community, and second, by supporting a social cause where he believes in.Entrepreneurship is a lot more than money-making. It is also about sustaining the business. For as long as you keep your personal, professional, and social values balanced, for sure, your business will continue to grow.
