MANILA - The business process outsourcing industry continues to expand, driving demand for office space, notwithstanding global and domestic uncertainties, property consulting firm Jones Lang LaSalle said Tuesday.
Despite fears that US President Donald Trump's protectionist policies could slow the industry down, BPOs are the main drivers of office rentals, followed by banking and finance, JLL said.
The Philippines offers a "cost advantage" compared to its main rival, India, the consulting firm said.
Bonifacio Global City is the most preferred destination for office space while Makati is the most expensive. Demand in Quezon City is rising, it said. -- reports from Jacque Manabat, ABS-CBN News
