MANILA – Hyundai Asia Resources Inc on Friday said its sales grew 16 percent in the first 2 months of the year with a total of 6,537 vehicles sold compared to 5,624 units over the same period last year.
February sales reached 3,715 vehicle units, Hyundai said in a statement. It did not give comparative figures.
Its passenger car (PC) segment breached the 2,000 monthly unit sales mark, with 2,047 unit sold in February while the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment sold 1,578 units in the same month, the automaker said.
The total sales of its trucks and buses grew 113.9 percent for the first 2 months of the year, Hyundai said.
