MANILA – The airport terminal tagged as one of the "world's worst" has a new look.

The government’s Official Gazette has released photos comparing the old Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 building and the upgraded facilities, which include changes in the departure lobby, arrival lobby, baggage carousel, check-in counters, concessionaire area, and Customs area.

The P1.3 billion rehabilitation project is around 80 percent complete, and is expected to be completed by May this year.
