MANILA - Philippine chocolate producers joined an annual cocoa and chocolate festival in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, local chocolate producers Auro Chocolate and Moulinet Chocolat-Kablon Farms are among those that joined the the Chocoa 2019 festival.
The DFA posted photos of the event on its Instagram account.
"Cacao producers from South Cotabato and Davao participated for the first time at the annual cocoa trade and chocolate festival CHOCOA 2019 in Amsterdam, Netherlands from 21 to 24 February 2019," DFA said in the caption.
"Through the exhibit, specialty chocolate shops in The Hague and in Amsterdam have placed their orders to retail Kablon and Auro chocolates in the Netherlands," it added.
Moulinet Chocolat also posted photos of its exhibit at the event.
The Chocoa 2019 festival was held in Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam.
