MANILA - Philippine Airlines on Monday said it is canceling all flights between Manila and Doha, Qatar from March 11 to March 15 due to the recent travel ban by Qatar on the entry of 14 nationalities - including Filipinos - over COVID-19 concerns.
PAL said its PR 684/685 Manila-Doha-Manila flights scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday have been canceled.
Affected passengers may rebook, reroute, or refund their ticket on or before March 28, PAL said.
"You may choose a new travel date that falls on or before June 30, 2020," the airline added.
Holders of tickets issued by PAL are advised to call its Reservations Hotline (+63 2) 8855 8888, or visit the nearest PAL ticketing office or log on to the ManageMyBookingPortal at www.philippineairlines.com for flight rebooking.
Holders of tickets issued by travel agents may contact or visit the nearest partner travel agency of PAL for their rebooking needs.
PAL also advised travelers check the status of their flights 48 hours before their trip.
"Please note that this is a developing situation. We shall provide updates on flight cancellations to/from Doha," PAL said.
