Total, Jetti to implement price adjustments Tuesday

Small oil players Total and Jetti are set to implement their own price adjustments following earlier announcements made by the other oil companies.

Total and Jetti will cut pump prices of their diesel products by P0.50 per liter starting 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Total will also rollback prices of its kerosene product by P1 per liter. It, however, will increase pump cost of its gasoline products by P0.50 per liter.

Earlier, Chevron Philippines (formerly Caltex), Seaoil. Eastern Petroleum and Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation announced similar price adjustments.

The four firms announced reductions in pump prices of their diesel products by P0.50 per liter. Chevron, Seaoil and Pilipinas Shell also said pump prices for its kerosene products would be reduced P1 per liter.

At the same time, the four oil firms also announced P0.50 per liter increases in the prices of its respective gasoline products.

The adjustments in pump prices of the four oil firms are set to take effect 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

Pilipinas Shell also announced a P2 per kilogram increase in the prices of its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products.
