MANILA -- Ayala Corp's microelectronics unit, IMI, said Thursday it was delaying the resumption of work in some facilities in China to help government efforts there to contain the novel coronavirus.
Integrated Micro-Electonics Inc said it was "developing contingency plans" to recover production backlogs. China delayed the resumption of work from last week's Lunar New Year holiday to respond to the outbreak.
Business trips between high risk regions were also deferred, it said.
"IMI is currently assessing the extent of the impact of such outbreak on its operational and financial performance," it said.
