MANILA - Two new Chinese airlines are now using the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, the facility's operator said Tuesday.
GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corp. said China Southern Airlines and Juneyao Airlines have launched direct flights from Cebu to 2 destinations in China.
China Southern Airlines started thrice weekly Cebu-Guangzhou direct route on January 22 using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, GMR said.
Juneyao Airlines launched its Cebu-Shanghai Pudong flight on Thursday, January 24, with thrice weekly flights using an Airbus A320.
The Mactan airport is connected to 32 domestic destinations and 20 international destinations.
