PNoy to speak at World Economic Forum in Davos

MANILA, Philippines - President Aquino is scheduled to speak at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. 

The President was invited to give the keynote speech at the Partnership Against Corruption event where he will share the Philippines' experience in battling corruption.

The President and his official delegation will be leaving on Wednesday, January 23, at 11 p.m.

He will be joined by Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario, Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Budget Secretary Butch Abad, Trade Secretary Gregory Domingo, Socio-economic Planning Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, Cabinet Secretary Rene Almendras and Communications Secretary Ricky Carandang.

Among the events that the President will be attending in Davos is the informal gathering of world economic leaders, which will pave the way for a discussion on economic issues with other world leaders. - ANC
