Globe provides free WiFi in airports, malls as Taal rumbles

MANILA - Globe Telecom said on Monday it was providing free mobile internet at the capital's main airport and several malls in provinces affected by Taal volcano's steam and ash eruption. 

The Ayala-led telco said unlimited WiFi would be available in all 4 terminals of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and select malls in Laguna, Cavite and Batangas to allow people affected by Taal volcano to communicate with family and friends.

Globe said it would provide free WiFi from Monday to Tuesday in the following malls:

Robinson’s Place Lipa

Pavilion Mall
Solenad 1,2,3
Southwoods Mall
Robinson’s Sta. Rosa
Robinson’s Place San Pedro
Robinson’s Los Banos

The District - Dasmarinas
The District - Imus
Ayala Malls Serin - Tagaytay
Robinsons Tagaytay
Robinson’s Place Dasmarinas
Robinson’s General Trias
Robinson’s Imus

The company also set up a booth providing free calls and cellphone charging at the Brgy. Amuyong Covered Court in Tagaytay Nasugbu Road, Alfonso, Cavite. The booth will provide these services from Jan. 13-16, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Globe said.
