MANILA - Philippine Airlines on Friday said it would operate flights between Clark and Quanzhou (Jinjiang) starting Jan. 16 to provide travelers more access to China's Fujian province.
Flights between Clark to Quanzhou will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, the flag carrier said in a statement.
PAL's 156-seater Airbus A320 will serve the brand new route, it said.
"Now, Filipino residents in Central Luzon need not travel all the way to Manila to catch a flight to this charming corner of Fujian province," PAL said.
PAL said it has the largest network of flights between the Philippines and several destinations in mainland China.
