MANILA - The Manila to Bataan ferry will be offering night trips starting Monday next week.
1Bataan Integrated Transport System, the operator of the ferry system, announced on its Facebook page that starting Jan. 7 it will add a 6:00 p.m. Manila to Bataan trip, and a 7:45 p.m. Bataan to Manila trip to its daily schedule.
The ferry travels from Esplanade Seaside Terminal behind Mall of Asia in Pasay City to the Capinpin Port in Orion, Bataan and vice versa. Fare costs P450 one way and can be booked online via the 1Bataan website.
The ferry cuts travel time from Manila to Bataan from 3-4 hours to just under an hour.
Shuttle services, meanwhile, take passengers from the Capinpin Port to various drop-off points in the province along the Roman highway.
1Bataan is a public-private partnership between the Provincial Government of Bataan and Magic Leaf Marine Logistics Corp.
