Developed because of a need to get a deeper understanding of doing business and growing in Mindanao, IPG Mediabrands conducted a breakthrough research study on the country's second largest island. The study uncovered insights on the culture, economy, commercial makeup, and development prospects of the Philippines' next potential growth frontier.

IPG Mediabrands will relay the study's findings in an immersive marketing conference called Navigate Mindanao, a not-to-be-missed event about Mindanao, for Mindanao, in Mindanao. It will be from October 10 to 11 at the Dusit Thani Residence, Davao.
Marketing and media professionals, business leaders, government decision-makers and industry movers from Manila and all over the country will listen, learn and share stories with a distinguished group of speakers and experts. The conference will provide new marketing knowledge on Mindanao’s culture, consumers, content, connections, commerce, and community. It will include an immersive tour on tourism and business opportunities.

On the first day, ABS-CBN News Channel managing director and Integrated News & Current Affairs head Ging Reyes will lead a section on "Decoding the Mindanaoan Narrative for Strategic Storytelling." Reyes will touch on the media portrait on the island and the kinds of stories coming out of it. She will be followed by Radio Mindanao chairman Eric Canoy, who will share his network's story and how it relates to the topic of "Remaining Relevant to Audiences and Communities." Facebook's Melissa Manay will cap off the segment by talking about optimizing technology for Mindanao audiences, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Emily Abrera.
In the morning, Synergy Market Research CEO and President Germaine Reyes and IPG Media managing director Tricia Camarillo-Quiambao will try to demistify the Mindanaoan identity beyond the stereotypes. Meanwhile, travel writer Gabby Malvar and Go Negosyo's Ginggay Hontiveros-Malvar will talk about appreciating Mindanao's patchwork of cultures.
The topic lineup that will lead off the second day includes Opportunities in Agri-rich Mindanao, Halal: A Delicious Untapped Opportunity, and Mindanao People and Resources for Growth and Development. After Mercato Centrale's RJ Ledesma wraps up the morning session, participants will be taken on a business or tourism immersion hosted by the Department of Tourism and the Mindanao Development Authority.
