The watches the men wore at last night’s ABS-CBN Ball

We approached the big bosses and some of the finest actors at last night’s black tie event to pull up their sleeves and show us their timepiece of choice.

“A gentleman's choice of timepiece says as much about him as does his Saville Row suit,” said Ian Fleming, the creator of one of the great style icons of the 20th century, James Bond. If Mr. Fleming is to be believed, the gentlemen we approached last night represent quite a varied lot: those who know what exactly fits in what occasion, those who value function over form, and those who live in the moment and don’t care what time it is at all. At the first ABS-CBN Ball, we asked the distinguished guys in the room what watch they are wearing, and they gamely gave us a little peek to who they are.
