These new sweet and savory holiday treats from Starbucks will most likely cheer you up

There’s something for the chocolate lovers and the meat lovers, and more indulgent options to up your happiness quotient

Christmas is barely two months away and many of us are still not feeling the holiday vibe. How about we carry a spark of joy by sharing some pretty neat holiday staples with our family and friends to celebrate the season? Starbucks Philippines had this in mind when they launched their selection of sweet and savory menu options.

Chocolate freaks can indulge in returning favorites like the 17-layer Chocolate Crepe Cake with Belgian chocolate filling, and the big and chewy Chocolate Overload Chip Cookie. There are also new flavors: the Triple Chocolate Cake, a three-layer confection veiled in a velvety dark and milk chocolate mousse, and the Chocolate Chip Doughnut which combines all that’s good in a cookie with all that’s good in a doughnut.

For the savory selections, one may opt for the returning Chicken Fajita Roll, the new Italian special Prosciutto Cotto and Mozzarella Panzerotti, and the slow-roasted Holiday Ham, Eggwhite, Cheese on Croissant Bun. Meat-free breakfast delights are also available, including the crispy and light Mushroom Bun, and the buttery Cheesy Spinach Tree.

The coffeehouse chain also has these new options: the Apple Berry Crumble Cheesecake which is a smooth and creamy treat topped with delicious butter crumble; the Starbucks Holiday Coffee Cake brings in layers of moist espresso confection, with a light meringue and creamy coffee mousse, and the PBJ Doughnut, which comes with creamy peanut butter filling and strawberry jam.

To make your indulgence a little more extra, Starbucks offers a range of holiday beverages: the new Jolly Baked Apple Latte, a creamy blend of espresso and spiced apples topped with a delicate drizzle of apple sauce and candied apple sprinkles; the returning Toffee Nut Crunch Latte, which brings the familiar and comforting layers of buttery toffee with notes of sweet and toasted nuts; and the icy and minty peppermint Mocha, with its flavorful taste inspired by traditional holiday candies. All the Starbucks holiday beverages are available in hot, iced, and blended formats.

People who work in the safety of their homes can also start their morning with the ready-to-drink Starbucks beverages. There’s the canned Starbucks Doubleshot, with its deep and invigorating espresso flavors, in both the sweet Milky Espresso and the chocolatey Dark Mocha. Coffee lovers can also power through their day with the bottled Starbucks beverages, such as the Caramel Frappuccino, or the Vanilla Frappuccino.

Those who want to be an at-home barista can master their craft as Starbucks brings back the Christmas Blend, which is roasted to create a sweet cup with cedary spiced layers, and the Christmas Blend Espresso Roast, which features a deeper, darker blend and complex flavor profile with plummy sweetness and earthy spiciness.

You can avail of these holiday offerings by ordering in-store or via drive-thru at Starbucks branches nationwide or through GrabFood starting November 3, 2020.
