Oktoberfest is quite simply the world’s largest and most famous beer festival held every year in Munich in the heart of Bavarian Germany since 1810. Since then, the festivities have spread around the world as a great excuse to get together and carouse over beer, sausages, and other German specialties.
Although of course there are many spots in Manila where you can just drink German beer and call it keeping with the German tradition, here are five spots in Manila where special Oktoberfest gatherings will be in full swing:
German Club Manila 80th Oktoberfest, Solaire Resort and Casino
Entertainment City, Aseana Avenue, Parañaque
Celebrate like the Germans do at the biggest and oldest Oktoberfest in the country, held annually by the German Club Manila for the last eight decades. Drink free flowing German beer, enjoy a feast of classic Bavarian favorites such as sausages from weisswurst to bratwurst, potato salad, pretzels, cold cuts, and spätzle, and play Germany's unique beer games. Parties happen October 4 to 6, 2018 starting at 6 pm all the way until 2 am.
