2020 schedule
Spartan Philippines 2020 will be composed of Spartan Super, a 10K, 25 Obstacle race offering the Elite, Age Group and Open categories; Spartan Sprint, a 5K, 20 Obstacle race offering the Open category; Spartan Trail presented by Merrell, a 10K trail run as well as the Hurricane Heat, a 4-Hour endurance event to test a competitor’s physical, mental, and emotional capabilities through a series of team based activities.
Originally set to kick off at Batangas Lakelands, the first event last February was moved to Alviera, Porac, Pampanga, a venue that’s slowly becoming a staple for the race. The venue change came in the wake of the Taal Volcano eruption, and was meant to ensure the safety of its racers and the quality of the activity. This was made possible with the help of Ayala Land, who had stepped up and offered the new venue.
On October 24 to 25, 2020, Spartan Philippines will host a Trifecta Weekend, offering all three signature races, and will also be home to the 2020 Spartan Asia Pacific Championship. The best of APAC’s Spartan Elite and Age Group racers will take on the 21K, 30 Obstacle Beast in Alviera as they try to take home the title of 2020 Spartan Asia Pacific Champion.
Aside from those mentioned above, Spartan Philippines will be hosting four (4) other events within the year in venues in Luzon and Visayas.
