MANILA - Senator Panfilo Lacson on Monday said he received information that a reported dance instructor who was allegedly killed and buried by the Davao Death Squad is still alive.
Retired SPO3 Arturo Lascañas on Monday supported the claims of self-confessed hitman Edgar Matobato that the two of them were part of the team that abducted and killed the victim, who was reportedly the lover of President Rodrigo Duterte's sister.
"Hindi ko sure kung dance instructor talaga. Pero ang instruction ni SPO4 Sonny Buenaventura, niloko nito ang kapatid ni Mayor na si Jocelyn," Lascañas said in a Senate inquiry into the alleged DDS.
"For several days, in-abduct namin ang tao.
(I'm not sure if he was indeed a dance instructor. But SPO4 Sonny Buenaventura said that he deceived Jocelyn, the Mayor's sister. we abducted him for several days. Edgar was part of the operation. We brought him to the quarry of Bien Laud and buried him there.)
Lacson added that the hearing on Lascañas' claims is already terminated.
