The weather has already started cooling down, vendors are already selling decorations of bright green and red, and aromas of puto bumbong and bibingka are already filling the air. The most-anticipated event in the country is fast-approaching, and the warm and jolly vibe among Filipinos is now evident.
There is still a few more weeks left before Christmas Day, but some people have already started their preparations and bought gifts for their family and friends. But why this early? Because prices of most Christmas gift items are still their usual rates and not yet inflating.
Last October 5, people flocked to the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex to take part in So Shop!, a social sellers bazaar empowered by logistics company LBC Express. The early shopping experience gave Filipinos, especially the online savvy, a productive and gratifying weekend.
In its effort to empower and help move the business forward of micro, small, and medium enterprises, LBC organized this event to give online business owners a venue to showcase their products, connect with their customers, and collaborate with their fellow entrepreneurs.
So Shop! highlighted LBC's services for online sellers such as 'Cash on Pick Up' and 'Cash on Delivery' that provided convenient means to bring their products closer to customers.
Through these new modes of payment, online sellers can now grow their businesses faster with secure, on-the-spot sales, and payments wherever there is an LBC branch.
A series of talks and discussions was also one of the highlights of the So Shop! bazaar. Topics such as using Facebook ads for business, creating social impact, customizing a website, and the rise of 'womenpreneurs' were discussed by experts.
It became an avenue where both online sellers and buyers shop and interact with utmost convenience and ease.
