Social media darling Scarlet Snow Belo has embarked on a quest to understand what is in her milk.
The curious child brought her bubbly vibes to Nestlé headquarters in Switzerland as she sought answers to her question.
At the headquarters, she made friends with Nestlé Infant Nutrition Global Category Business Head Alex Keller as well as Global Head of Scientific Affairs Marco Turini.
Here are the things she learned.
Scarlet Snow said that while she knows her milk, NANKID® OPTIPRO®, has OPTIPRO® and probiotics, she wants to understand what these mean.
Turini explained that OPTIPRO® stands for optimized protein, which means that proteins have been made smaller so it is more easily digested by a child. It also contains just the right amount of protein needed by a child's body.
Proteins are important nutrients for a growing child. The quality and quantity of proteins they receive will have long-term impact on their nutrition.
With NANKID® OPTIPRO®, children get the right kind and amount of protein for optimal weight and development advantage.
Scarlet Snow also learned that the probiotics in her milk are live good bacteria that help her tummy. With every glass of milk, she gets beneficial bacteria to support a healthy digestive system.
Her milk is also formulated to taste good without added sucrose or table sugar.
NANKID® OPTIPRO® also contains DHA, an important building block for the brain and eyes, as well as important vitamins and minerals to support overall growth and development.
** NANKID® OPTIPRO®is formulated for children above three years old. It is not suitable for use as breastmilk substitute.
