Every year a fiery sports competition between eight universities in the country takes place and students, even the alumni, gather together in support of their alma mater. The crowd heats up the court as they cheer for their university.

This year is a bit different than the other game seasons, as magical heroes and villains take over the country's premiere collegiate basketball league this week to usher in the launch of Netflix's The School for Good and Evil on October 19.

The teams from the School for Good and School for Evil made their debut on the court through a mesmerizing acrobatic basketball show. The show's characters – fairies, princes, cyclops, and heroines: Agatha and Sophie, captivated the audience with various flips and jump shots. A magical sight that you have to see for yourself.

Alongside this, a flying Stymph was seen soaring outside the MOA Arena as to give hints on its role in the movie. Stymphs are bird-like creatures from the film that shuttle students to either the majestic School for Good or the mysterious School for Evil.

In the film, the School for Good and Evil headmistresses unlocked students' magic through their Finger Glows. Similarly, the headmistresses were also present by the entrance of the MOA Arena before the game, to give out finger glows representing UAAP school colors, making the game even more magical.

The headmistresses then continued to cast their spells on the court and helped players with their jaw-dropping shots through the Magical Move of the Game. They even joined the courtside correspondents in their reports giving out unusual, yet enchanting takes on the basketball game.

The School for Good and Evil is a film about two best friends, Sophie and Agatha, who get whisked away to a magical school for fairytale heroes and villains. As they find themselves on opposite sides, their friendship and skills are put to the test, creating an enthralling storyline.
