For dessert lovers, honey is synonymous to sweets. Or cakes. Or a sugar substitute in tea.

But being new to the whole beauty drill, honey apparently is also beneficial to the skin.

While it is totally yummy with a helping of sticky buns, honey is also a nice topping to keep skin smooth and moisturized. Talk about nourishment inside and out.

So upon learning how honey can be this good for me, I can't say no to anything that involves this product – I’m totally in! And I discovered this newly launched service from Strip: a beeswax hair removal!

The second try

After my first experience with Strip's service, I’ve been thoroughly impressed. Expectations are high, and Strip didn’t disappoint – I walked out happy with soft, hair-free legs (I availed a full leg wax)!

As usual, the therapist is super friendly and helpful, assisting me and making sure the procedure proceeds easily! Lying there in utmost comfort, she started stripping from my thighs – gently from my legs then finally to my feet, careful with every step. She’s constantly asking if the temperature is bearable (honestly, the heat is relaxing, making me feel at ease). After less than half an hour, we’re done! Easy, fast, with excellent results!

Rule of third

The treatment doesn’t end there as there’s much more to being hair-free. This type of hair removal is actually part of Strip's campaign called Save the Queen (the wax used is called Queen Bee wax), which aims to spread the word on how bees are not pests but friends.

Every time a client avails this treatment, a percentage goes to the apiaries that Strip is collaborating with globally.

With all these, I will definitely come back a third time.
