Filipinos generally love to shop, whether it is online or spending time in the grocery stores and malls.
Some of the major items that Filipinos buy in grocery stores are food and non-alcoholic beverages, while the second leading purchase of FIlipinos are miscellaneous goods and services which contribute to about 8.4% of the total spending of households. This includes items and services that are not food and non-alcoholic beverages – including home care items and beauty products.
Grocery shopping may be an ordinary errand for some, however, there are Filipinos who do not share the privilege of being able to regularly buy household essentials items. Some have to sacrifice or earn a lot just to purchase 'essential daily items.'
This is why a consumer goods company wants to help and reach out to Filipinos in need of help. To share hope to families in need of daily essentials and the Filipino youth who are out of school because of lack of finances and whose learning experience have been affected by the current health situation – Unilever Philippines has launched the Shop2Give Together campaign.
It is Unilever's desire to share inspiring hope and compassion among Filipinos.
The Shop2Give campaign began in 2018, where most disasters had affected Filipinos and the youth. The Shop2Give campaign was launched to allow customers to purchase Unilever items while giving back.

It has supported millions of out-of-school children, helped UNICEF's Alternative Learning System (ALS) education program, and built homes for families who have lost their houses with the assistance of Gawad Kalinga.
Now in its fifth year, the Shop2Give Together campaign will hold a Super Brand Day on July 18. Shoppers of Lazada will receive a 50% discount upon checkout. Customers will also get free shipping, limited time vouchers, and exclusive freebies with every purchase.
Best of all as shoppers buy items for their households and daily essentials such as: soap, shampoo, conditioner, fabric conditioner, deodorant, facial serum, etc. – they are also donating proceeds to the Shop2Give Together campaign that can help benefit children and families that are under the care of UNICEF.
Turn your shopping experience to a sharing experience with the Shop2Give Together campaign of Unilever.
