At the iconic world-class resort, discover a slew of must-do experiences for the young and the young-at-heart like a visit to S.E.A. Aquarium’s Ocean Fest: The Noisy Ocean. Learn, laugh and leap for joy!

Edutainment under the sea

For a day that’s as exciting as it is educational, make S.E.A. Aquarium’s Ocean Fest: The Noisy Ocean the first stop on your itinerary. Don’t miss this event, happening from May 17 to June 30, 2019!

Did you know that fish use sounds to communicate, or that noises in the ocean can have good and bad effects on marine life? Learn fascinating facts like these and more, while exploring the secret world of underwater sounds through immersive interactive installations.

Visit the Sound Stations to play and learn about the diverse sounds of the ocean at different unique activity hotspots. Then make some noise and see the positive effects it can have on marine life at the Sound Reactive TV. Recreate the sounds of fish and learn why a noisy reef is a healthy one at the Healthy Reef Installation. At Sound Box Blasting, experience how fish feel when underwater blasting and drilling takes place. Finally, experience the Celebration of Sound, a percussion-based live performance, featuring song, puppetry and upcycled instruments.

This event is just one of the many great things to see and experience at the S.E.A. Aquarium. After all, its marine realm is home to more than 100,000 marine animals of over 1,000 species, across 50 different habitats. Take your time to explore this vast world and appreciate the beauty of these wonderful animals.

If your family is big on conservation, you’ll be glad to know that the Aquarium is home to Guardians of the S.E.A.A., which supports conservation research, education, and public engagement efforts protecting the marine environment. ‘No Straws – Save Marine Life,’ which saw the phasing out of plastic straws across the resort and which eliminated over three million straws a year, and the meaningful ‘Save The Irrawaddy Dolphin Project’ are just two of the group’s initiatives.

A Universe of Fun

Don't forget to enjoy the unique shows and have an exhilarating ride on the Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON™ (the world's tallest dueling roller coasters), indoor coaster Revenge of the Mummy, and TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle.

Food, glorious food

Done with the day? Feast and recharge for tomorrow with a sumptuous meal.

Italian is always a good choice. World-famous Italian celebrity chefs Enrico and Roberto Cerea helm two restaurants: Fratelli Trattoria, which serves fine Lombardy-inspired creations like the Paccheri Pasta, and Fratelli Pizzeria, which bakes sumptuous Italian pizzas, using the finest imported ingredients like Burrata cheese from Puglia. A must-try on their menu: the Bianca pizza.

Should you prefer dining with fewer rules and more adventure, head to the newly opened table65, led by celebrity chefs Richard van Oostenbrugge and Thomas Groot from Amsterdam’s 212.
