Yamaha Motor Philippines has been adaptive and evolving along with the changing times, a step ahead in predicting the rider's needs. Hence, the birth of the new Mio Gear and Mio Gear S - a new generation of 125 cc Blue Core engine with Smart Motor Generator Technology that produces a smooth sound when turned on. Equipped with an eco-indicator which is essential as the gas prices continue to change.

"Mio Gear is for those who wants to be challenged always, who wants to be tough," said Shinsuke Iida, Yamaha Motor Philippines' Sales & Marketing Division Head.

Its exterior has scratch protection and has less painted parts to endure multi-purpose use. The LED lights are made durable and produces bright lights with hazard signals for other motorists in every situation. You can also find reflectorized graphics in the body that increases the visibility and highlights the Mio emblem even in dark roads.

Those who go on long rides and even those who ride for a living may also benefit from the built-in power socket, strategically located at the left-hand pocket of the Mio Gear that enables you to keep your phone running as you coast along the busy roads from the metro to the provinces.

It also has tubeless tires that gives a comfortable riding experience, especially when maneuvering. The motorcycle maker also made sure that the passenger could ride with ease, even when carrying a large baggage as the footboard placement makes the footrests accessible at each side back step. It is also slip-resistant which adds safety to the passenger.

To add to that, they also gave the riders freedom to carry more items with them through the double hooks, including a carabineer and hook.

Mio's Stop and Start System also helps reduce gasoline waste as it automatically shuts off the engine when the motorcycle is idle in traffic or is at stopped.

If you are also one of those who forgets where they park, the answer back system of the Mio Gear is your saving heaven as it locates your motorcycle with a single press on the remote key button. The motorcycle will sound a buzzer and flashes its single lamp as you press the button.

The new Mio Gear is priced at P79,400 while the Mio Gear S is prized at P84,400 depending on the specs of your choosing.

"For us at Spartan we like to be very diverse. We're not like one dimensional. What we tell our athletes is, you have to be able to adapt in whatever obstacle you're facing in life, whether literal or figurative and I think the Yamaha Mio Gear is that way," shares Mica de Joya, Spartan Race Philippines' Race Director relating what they do in Spartan to the new Mio Gear motorcycle.

Mavs Phenomenal Basketball team was also challenged as they took on the public as their opponent revealed by Coach Maverick 'Coach Mavs' Bautista, "Intense tsaka very exciting lalo na 'yung mga player na nakalaro namin actually kilala namin sila and well-respected players talaga sila sa lugar nila. Kaya nung nakita namin na sila makakalaro namin talagang bigla kaming napunta sa mode na 'uy, kailangan naming lahat seryoso talaga."
(It was intense and very exciting, especially that the players we competed against are well-respected in their community. So, when we saw them, we thought to ourselves that we need to take this seriously).

(I did not expect that I will be able play today. It was fun, but I was short of breath because I do not have much practice anymore.)

Everyone played tough, but they soon found something in common, a love for the active life and tough sports.

Even content creator of "Motor ni Juan" was shocked and dotted on the power of the Mio Gear. "Yung toughness. Mabigat ako, I'm about 210 pounds yata ako so pagdating sa power kaya ako ni Mio Gear."
(The toughness. I am heavy, I am about 210 pounds I think, but when it comes to power, Mio Gear can carry me).

While the founder of Mavs Phenomenal Basketball reveals that he owns a Mio Gear in which he actively uses for everyday living. For Bautista it is a tough ride that eases his daily life.

So, whether its cruising through everyday life, or galloping to your dreams, there is a ride that may keep up with you.
