For many, there is nothing more comforting than a bite of their favorite food at the end of a stressful day. One bite is enough to make you feel as if your mom was giving you a warm hug.
To make it easier for people to find their happy place, cheese brand Eden came up with the Comfort Food Maker, a vending machine designed to fill tummies and soothe nerves at the press of a button.
Aside from convenience, it also adds fun by offering dishes depending on a person's mood.
Scheduled to be installed across Metro Manila this June, the Comfort Food Maker will dispense comforting home-cooked meals such as cheesy chicken adobo, cheesy pork steak, cheesy pork giniling, and cheesy tuna melt.
"Eden has been providing comfort through moms' everyday dishes, since it was launched 37 years ago. With every bite of Eden cheese, it offers creaminess that’s as delicious and comforting as your mom’s hugs," said Hanz Danielle Lao, Assistant Brand Manager for Eden Cheese.
One of the best ways to comfort people is by giving them the dishes that their palates will never outgrow.
"You never outgrow the love for the food that mom prepares. I'm sure at one point in our lives, we've all experienced having Eden Cheese on our dining tables. Be it for breakfast with that thick slice of Eden Cheese moms put in pan de sal or for merienda when she serves spaghetti topped with a generous amount of Eden Cheese," she said.
To use the vending machine, a person will need to enter their name, then select the emoji that best represents their mood. It will then offer a dish that best suits the mood rating.
A cheesy meal will be dispensed upon payment for the dish.
Eden Cheese packs are also available for purchase through the Comfort Food Maker, in case a user wants to cook their own cheesy comfort food at home.
"Iyon talaga ang binibida namin—how Eden Cheese can provide you that comfort. Be it in or outside your homes, through the food you eat, inspired by comforting dishes prepared by mom," Lao said.
More information the Comfort Food Machine can be found on Eden's official Facebook page. You can also cook your own cheesy dishes by visiting the website.
