LBC Express Inc., one of the market leaders in courier, cargo, and money remittance services, continues to "move it for the Filipinos" after the government allowed logistics and cargo-forwarding companies to operate and deliver goods and supplies amid the Luzon-wide lockdown.
"Now more than ever, LBC's services are needed by our kababayans around the globe. We are still moving for them especially at a time when their movement is limited and sending packages and items to customers, loved ones, and family members may feel like a challenge. This is a call to serve and we will heed this call. We will help move the country at this trying time, while still taking care of our own people," said LBC President Miguel Angel Camahort.
Despite the ongoing flight and sea travel cancellations, LBC still showcases its commitment to moving lives, businesses and communities, and delivering smiles around the world. Thus, to ensure the safety of its cross-country shipments and deliveries and to protect its employees worldwide, LBC has implemented contactless delivery and maintains stringent measures and protocols set by the government including social distancing and regular fumigation and sanitation of its branches, hubs, and warehouses.
It also ensures that its frontliners are well-equipped and protected by providing them with safety and protection gear, point-to-point shuttles for easier commute, free meals, and medical assistance and allowances. LBC has also released a portion of its 13th month pay to help employees in this time of need.
"We are very grateful for the service of our frontliners and we will ensure that we are with them every step of the way. They are helping move the whole nation at this time. We will assess government and health mandates and we will adapt and innovate as needed. Together, with them, LBC will continue to do its best to serve Filipinos worldwide in the best way we know," Camahort added.
"Logistics has always been the arena of constantly moving targets and we know that with our commitment and the commitment of our people, we will be able to shift gears."
Its Online Pick-up service, wherein LBC conveniently pick-up packages right at their client's doorstep and deliver it to the receiver, allows everyone to be safe at home. Online business owners are also advised to take advantage of this service so their operations will not be put to a halt. Moreover, Overseas Filipino Workers who want to take care of their loved ones in the Philippines despite the distance can still send remittances and packages through LBC's Air Cargo services.
